At our Measham setting, we offer breakfast and after school care for children aged 3-11 years, which run from 7.30 - 8.45am and 3 - 6pm (Monday to Friday). We offer care for children attending Measham C of E Primary school and its pre-school. We also drop off and collect children to/from St Charles Catholic Primary school and its pre-school which is less than a 5 minute walk away. There is a small additional cost for this.
We offer a nutritious breakfast including toast and a selection of cereals, as well as planning some special themed breakfast mornings throughout the year for special events.
We run mainly from the school hall, with our large toy storage located closely by for easy access for the children to be able to freely and independently choose what they wish to play with. We have a lovely secure garden area just outside the hall which the children love to spend time in with their friends. There is also a large playground and field for us to use, which includes football goals, a tyre park, table tennis and even outdoor gym equipment!
Our children choose how they want to spend their mornings and afternoons and we discuss as a club about school topics and interests so that we can include this into our planning to further enhance learning opportunities.
We organise celebration themed nights each month to celebrate children's birthdays, as well as other special events such as movie nights, talent contests, treasure hunts and lots more!
At Measham, the children thoroughly enjoy getting creative with our weekly themed arts and crafts and get particularly excited seeing the special 'tuff spot' activities on offer each day.
In the afternoons, we provide a two-course light tea for the children which is served around 4pm each day along with a selection of cold drinks which are always provided for the children to help themselves to.
