K and C Kids Cabin were established in May 2013. Since this time we have developed and grown to provide quality childcare and meet the needs of before and after school care in the local area and care for children between the ages of 3 – 12 years. Katie and Claire are very much involved in the day to day running of all the settings. This ensures that each setting and their staff teams are supported consistently to provide high quality childcare.
We are an Ofsted registered childcare provider, specialising in caring for children before and after school. Each of our settings are also inspected by environmental health and each site holds a level 5 hygiene certification.
All of our staff hold relevant and up to date training in childcare, safeguarding children, first aid and food handling. Staff personal development is paramount to us and so staff are regularly encouraged to attend additional training to contribute to their continuous professional development in their role. Each staff member also holds an enhanced DBS certificate which is regularly checked.
Children choose their own keyperson to ensure that positive relationships are developed and we get to know you and your child from the very start of your time with us.
We believe in providing flexible childcare to meet your needs. You may book set days each week or we are happy to discuss more flexible sessions if required.
Fees
We charge per half an hour for childcare, so that you only pay for the time that you use with us. We also accept all childcare voucher payments.
We offer a 10% SIBLING DISCOUNT for families who have more than one child attending our club.
We require a deposit of £30.00 to secure your child’s place and this is then returned to you after your months notice, when your child’s place is no longer required.
Holiday Care
We provide holiday care at selected dates during the school holidays from Snarestone Primary School. We also offer holiday care from 8am – 5.30pm for 1 week at Easter, 4 weeks in Summer and usually a few days before Christmas, depending on the end of school term date.

Holds a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies and a CACHE Level 4 NVQ in Childrens Care, Learning and Development. Claire has over 20 years of experience in childcare and education within schools and specifically specialises in the out of school sector.
Katie Moylan
Company Director
Qualifications include B.A.Honours in Education and a CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education. Katie has over 20 years of early years childcare experience within the nursery and pre-school sector, including managerial roles leading and supporting work in the EYFS.
